In this budget, probably the first one presented on a Sunday, the government has given a subtle message to the market about their work culture. I have tried to link the MOUs signed in DAVOS 2026, this Futuristic Budget to progress towards Vikasit Bharat 2047 and the important Trade Deals signed with many countries around the same time. Much lower tax on LTCG after 5 years would make capital available for sunrise sectors, net worth based barrier for FnO segment and need to align interest rates on small savings schemes with REPO rate are some of the important suggestions.
